Excalibur Matrix 355Excalibur Matrix is the winner in this category; it has recurve limbs and would with its 240 lbs. of draw weight be impossible to cock if not for the cocking aid that’s included in the package. Best Crossbow 2014
The title of the best crossbow 2014 in our mind belongs to the Barnett Ghost 410, as it’s not only the fastest but is also amongst the most comfortable models to shoot with. Carbonlite riser, exceptional ergonomic design and great balance allow even a beginner to shoot it accurately; the only real issue with this one is the price as not everyone can afford to spend $1000 on this.
I have to admit though, that Excalibur Matrix comes pretty close and some hunters actually prefer it due to its light weight and compact size.
